Entering the Awards

The ARA Awards provides an opportunity for organisations to benchmark their reports against the ARA criteria. The Awards are open to all organisations that produce an annual report. They are a measure of the standard achieved – they are not a competition.

Every year in October the ARA invites organisations to submit their most recent annual report for review by leading industry professionals on the ARA examining committees.

Organisations may submit their reports into either:

General Award
The entire annual report is benchmarked against the ARA criteria and the reports that satisfy the criteria at different levels receive a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award, or

Special Awards Categories
Annual reports are examined against specific criteria in the areas of sustainability, governance, occupational health and safety, knowledge capital and electronic (online) reporting and communication.
