Hugh Morgan is principal of First Charnock, a Director of the Board of the Reserve Bank of Australia, President of the Australian Japan Business Co-operation Committee and a member of the Lafarge International Advisory Board. He is also a Trustee of the Asia Society New York, Chairman of the Asia Society AustralAsia Center, President of the National Gallery of Victoria Foundation and Chairman of the Order of Australia Association Foundation. He is a former President of the Business Council of Australia and immediate Past Co-Chair of the Commonwealth Business Council.
Hugh was Chief Executive Officer of WMC Limited from 1986 to 2003, a Director of Alcoa of Australia from 1977 to 1998 and a Director of Alcoa Inc. from 1998 to 2001.
Chairman
Prior to his recent appointment to USANZ as Chief Executive Officer, Alex Malley has had extensive experience in professional consulting and the tertiary education sector. His consulting interests have included general management contracting, facilitation, strategic planning and professional education and training. Alex has also held a number of senior roles in the academic sector and currently sits on a number of Boards and government sector committees. Alex joined the ARA Board in 2002.
