Get Ready for the 2024 Awards

The Australasian Reporting Awards were introduced in 1950 and have been held every year for the past 73 years. Entries for the 74th Awards are now open.

The Awards are provided by Australasian Reporting Awards Limited, a small not-for-profit body run by volunteers. The Awards started as the Annual Report Awards to improve the quality of communication of organisations with their stakeholders in Australia. Subsequently, the Awards were renamed the Australasian Reporting Awards to include organisations in New Zealand. The Awards are now open to all organisations located in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

Why enter the Awards?

The ARA Awards provide an opportunity to benchmark your reporting against world best practice criteria, and against the reports of similar organisations.

Organisations benefit by finding out how good their annual report is, and most importantly, how to improve it. Entrants can receive constructive feedback on their report from an ARA adjudicator.

N.B. The ARA assessment focuses on the quality and completeness of the reporting about the organisation’s behaviour and performance, not on its actual behaviour and performance!
