Catherine Etheredge, Head of Communications, Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation
Catherine will provide an overview of the Guardians’ evolving approach to annual reporting, and the value they have gained from being a long-time ARA entrant. She will talk to ARA’s role in promoting best practice reporting standards in the region, which the Guardians see as vital for good corporate practice and healthy functioning of capital markets. Participating in the Awards to allow the Guardians to steadily improve its reporting.
Catherine, Head of Communications, at the NZ Super Fund, NZ$58 billion sovereign wealth fund that invests globally to help pre-fund universal pensions for New Zealanders. She has worked in the Fund from 2012, joining from Ports of Auckland where she was Senior Manager – Communications. Previously she was a senior consultant with corporate communications firm SweeneyVesty. She has worked in communications and public affairs for more than 20 years. In 2019, Catherine won an international award for Professional Excellence in the Gold Standard Awards. She has an MA (Hons) degree from the University of Auckland.
