Sustainability Reporting

This Award was introduced in 1997 as the Environmental Reporting Award and was changed to the Sustainability Reporting Award in 2005 to recognise the broader focus of sustainability reporting. In 2019, this Award was changed to a graduated Award with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards to benchmark the quality of sustainability reporting, and the Sustainability Report of the Year was introduced.

The winner of this Award is selected from the reports that achieve a Gold Award for Sustainability Reporting. The finalists for the 2024 Sustainability Report of the Year Award are:

2024 Sustainability Report of the Year

Winner: CLP Holdings Limited

Since first entering the ARA Awards in 2014, CLP Holdings has achieved ten consecutive Gold Awards (and the ARA Chair’s Commendation this year) and has won multiple Awards for Sustainability Reporting.

The judges said, “CLP Holdings has maintained its reporting style and standard from previous years and delivered a thorough, comprehensive, high quality sustainability report on an easy to navigate website. Notable features are sections that provide a concise summary of key issues; an interactive materiality matrix; alignment to ISSB this year; and a demonstration of best practice double materiality.”
